The Trust is responsible for assisting the department to identify needs and priorities for persons with disabilities in the province.

Through the utilization of the jobs portal database, the Trust promotes the employment and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the department and the province at large
SMME SUPPORT
Through the MOA, the Trust promotes, and supports businesses owned by entrepreneurs with disabilities in the Eastern Cape.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The Trust through the MOA, manages and implements economic development projects for persons with disabilities.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Through the MOA, the Trust supports the development of women with disabilities to achieve the broader goal of gender equality
